Studio Akarii · Proposal for Evlogia

Building a Brand for Life

Evlogia begins with olive oil, but its opportunity reaches far beyond a single product.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to explore what Evlogia could become.

There is something incredibly special in what you have already created, and we’re excited by the potential to shape its next chapter with you, thoughtfully, ambitiously and with a great deal of care.

Rooted in the olive tree, the Mediterranean and generations of knowledge, Evlogia has the foundations to become a global brand built around a richer idea, which is the discovery of exceptional things, the people who make them and the places they come from.

At its heart is a simple belief that the things we bring into our lives should be chosen with greater care. Evlogia creates a world around that belief.

Curation replaces endless choice. Provenance, quality and permanence take precedence over trends. Each product becomes an introduction to an extraordinary maker, place, ingredient or tradition.

The Story

The story is the strategy.

Luxury houses are followed for the world they build around what they sell. Once Evlogia's story exists, every downstream decision follows naturally, from the platform and the messaging to the collection and the way each market is entered.

There is a clear shift in the global market towards products with provenance, integrity and a deeper connection to where they come from.

Consumers are looking beyond the product itself. They want to know the grower, the maker, the landscape, the process and the story behind what they bring into their homes and lives.

This movement can be seen across food, beauty, wellness, hospitality and travel. The boundaries between these categories are increasingly disappearing, creating an opportunity for Evlogia to occupy a much broader cultural space.

Olive oil provides a powerful entry point. It is ancient, universal and deeply connected to health, food, beauty, agriculture and Mediterranean culture. Yet much of the category continues to be presented either as an everyday commodity or as a premium product defined primarily by packaging and provenance.

Pouring olive oil

The founders become the brand's eyes and its judgement, travelling the world, meeting growers, producers and craftspeople, and bringing a highly edited collection of discoveries to a global audience.

Each new producer adds another chapter to the story, each place enriches the world the brand is building, and each product must earn its place in the collection.

01

The Table

Exceptional oils · Vinegars · Preserves · Condiments · Ceramics · Table objects

02

The Body

Skincare · Soap · Haircare · Bath · Botanical formulations

03

The Everyday

Olive leaf · Botanical extracts · Wellness · Scent · Daily essentials

04

The World

Makers · Estates · Landscapes · Recipes · Travel · Culture · Stories

The opportunity is to build more than a marketplace, and to create a point of view that people recognise and trust.

Provenance
Evlogia brings the origin forward: the grower, the landscape, the craft and knowledge that make each product worth choosing.
Discovery
The brand continually searches for things worth knowing about, giving people a reason to return beyond the transaction.
Curation
A smaller collection creates greater meaning. Selection itself becomes an expression of taste.
Living
Evlogia connects products to how people live, through cooking, gathering, bathing, caring, gifting and sharing.
Enduring Quality
The collection is built around things that deserve to remain in our lives, creating a world defined by quality rather than quantity.

Editorial Engine

Beyond the Collection.

A new estate, a chef collaboration, an artist commission, a seasonal table or an unexpected discovery can each open another side of the brand. This becomes its editorial engine, a continuous flow of stories, encounters and collaborations that keeps Evlogia interesting long after the first purchase.

The founders' search becomes part of the brand itself, creating a human editorial layer that conventional retailers and marketplaces cannot easily replicate.

The ambition
The ambition is to establish Evlogia as a globally recognised authority on exceptional products born from the olive tree and Mediterranean life, beginning with olive oil and expanding naturally across food, body, beauty, wellbeing and the home.

The Collection

Products

Where the collection stands today, and where it goes next. One founding product with real authority, and a curated path to ten to fifteen SKUs.

Gold
London Olive Oil Awards 2025. Koroneiki monovarietal from Rethymno.
<2 hrs
Tree to mill. The oil is pressed before oxidation can begin.
Own estate
Rethymno, Crete. Certified organic, from grove to bottle.
Zero
Chemicals, additives, or interventions anywhere in the process.

The olive oil is already doing something remarkable. An award-winning oil from your own estate is the proof of standard the whole brand is built on, and the first thing every visitor will see.

Estate No. 01
Olive Oil
Rethymno, Crete
Two hours from tree to mill. Speed preserves everything that matters.
Estate No. 02
Yoghurt
Crete
Twenty-five days, not sixty. Zero chemicals means it lasts exactly as long as a yoghurt should.
Producer No. 03
Honey
Origin TBC
The best in its category, found the way everything in the collection is found.
Producer No. 04
Butter
France
The best butter in France, made for Evlogia. One farm, one method.
Producer No. 05
Vinegar
Mediterranean
Proper ageing rather than accelerated manufacture. Time is the standard.

Each product is the best in its category from its Mediterranean country of origin, sold under Evlogia or as "Made for Evlogia." The collection grows to ten to fifteen SKUs.

The Value of Curation

The ambition is to choose exceptionally well.

A collection of 10–15 exceptional products allows each one to earn its place, building Evlogia’s reputation around the quality of its judgement rather than the size of its catalogue.

A small catalogue means every product can carry a full story, every label gets real attention, and the platform can treat each product as a room rather than a row in a grid.

It also shapes the e-commerce system choice: the platform is built for depth per product, not volume of products.

What the Brand Says

Brand & Positioning

Two potential registers to carry every product in the collection: food and wellness.

This phase will establish the strategic foundation for Evlogia and define a clear position for the brand as it prepares for international growth.

Building on the work to date, we will sharpen the proposition, identify the most valuable market opportunity and establish the core idea that can carry Evlogia from its origins in olive oil into a broader global brand.

The focus will be on creating clarity: what Evlogia stands for, why it is different, who it is for and the principles that guide how the brand grows.

This will be brought together in a concise Brand Positioning & Story document covering:

Brand & Market Context
Brand Positioning
Key Market and Cultural Dynamics
Brand Story
Competitive Landscape & White Space
Tagline & Descriptor
Target Audience
Brand Pillars
Brand Purpose & Vision
Product & Category Architecture
Global Growth Principles
The central reference
The document will become the central strategic reference for Evlogia, guiding future identity, campaigns, content, partnerships, product development and market expansion.

Food

The language of luxury chefs.

  • Provenance told in specifics: the grove, the farm, the hours
  • Technique and restraint over adjectives
  • The ingredient that earns its place on the pass
  • A register that applies to every product, not just the oil

Wellness

The language of ritual and purity.

  • Zero chemicals as a way of living, not a claim
  • The morning pour, the daily practice
  • Good enough to drink is itself the quality signal
  • Food that behaves the way nature intended

The same brand speaks both languages. A chef in Lyon and a customer in Seoul hear different registers, and both are hearing the truth.

What is written for the chefs is built to travel across the whole collection, so every new product inherits a voice that already works.

Olive oil poured over bread
Rituals
The behaviours the brand teaches: how the oil is tasted, how the yoghurt is served, how a product is given as a gift. Rituals give customers something to do with the brand, not just something to buy, and they translate beautifully across markets.
Look and feel
Material, texture, and restraint. Glass weight, label substrate, the paper that arrives with a gift order. In a category where everyone claims premium, the physical and visual experience is where Evlogia is genuinely different from the first touch.
Tone of voice
Specific before poetic. The two-hour window, the twenty-five days, the single farm. Facts told with confidence do more for a luxury food brand than mythology, because the facts are the mythology.

Ritual

Ritual turns a product into a habit.

When Evlogia teaches how the oil is tasted, how the yoghurt is served and how a gift is given, the brand becomes part of daily life. A ritual is returned to again and again, and it travels across cultures without translation.

Route to Market

Where Evlogia Begins

The strategy we proposed: the trade channel builds credibility and funds the consumer launch, market by market.

Route to Market

Authority first. Scale follows.

The places that serve Evlogia also validate it. A place in the right kitchens builds credibility that no advertising budget can buy, and the revenue it generates funds the consumer launch that follows.

Chefs at work
Served at
Michelin-level restaurants, fine dining kitchens, high-end hotels in priority markets
Stocked by
Specialty food retailers, department stores, high-end grocers building their food offer
Selected by
Distributors and hospitality groups with access to exactly the right rooms

The first customers who matter are not consumers. They are the chefs and buyers who taste things for a living. Being on the pass at the right restaurant does something no campaign budget can replicate, and it is what funds the consumer channel that follows.

Europe

The credibility story

Establish the brand in the food cultures that judge hardest. The chef and trade channel leads, and the story earns its authority here first.

United States

A key market, its own entity

A local subsidiary carries the market. Premium food culture is already primed; the story answers why this one.

Middle East · Dubai

Hospitality and gifting

Food as generosity. Hotels and luxury gifting are the doors in, with a subsidiary structure to match.

Thailand · Asia-Pacific

The luxury hospitality corridor

Resorts and fine dining lead the entry, with a local subsidiary planned as the market proves itself.

With Global Ambition, each market is rolled out one at a time. Key markets get local subsidiaries so distribution, compliance, and relationships are held close to the ground rather than run from a distance.

The Digital Home

Platform

Below are a series of concepts for the website, each exploring a different way into the Evlogia story.

The platform becomes an expression of the brand — a place to move through its products, people and origins, with moments of discovery unfolding throughout the experience.

Concept 01 · The House

Evlogia, imagined as a place.

A digital house where the collection determines the rooms.

The table, pantry, garden and bathroom each hold a different expression of the brand, turning navigation into an intuitive way to move through Evlogia.

Concept 02 · The Journey

The story travels and you travel with it.

Built around the founders' search: a map of discoveries, each product introduced from the place it was found.

The site reads like an expedition journal that happens to sell what it discovers. Every new product is a new destination, which gives the platform a reason to be revisited.

Concept 03 · The Table

Built from the perspective of the chefs and kitchens that use Evlogia.

The editorial voice is led by the people who know the product best, bringing authority and experience to the story.

Product pages go deeper into the ingredient, its provenance and why it matters, while a dedicated trade experience gives chefs, restaurants and buyers the same consideration as the consumer.

Olive grove

The Platform

The brand world before the buy button.

With fifteen products, the website can be a destination rather than a catalogue. Desire is built in the brand world before the transaction, and the following that world creates makes each new market easier to open than the last.

What it is not

A conventional food store.

  • Grid of products, add to cart, checkout
  • Category filters across a large catalogue
  • Promotional banners and newsletter pop-ups
  • Platform template with brand colours applied

What it is

A luxury editorial experience.

  • Long-form product pages: producer, place, process
  • A curated collection, not a searchable catalogue
  • The brand world before the buy button
  • A trade channel that makes the B2B journey elegant

With ten to fifteen SKUs the website does not need to be a search engine. It needs to be a destination, it needs to be aspiration, and it needs to carry the story through to distribution: the same platform serves the consumer in each market and the buyer who puts the products in the right rooms.

Award-Winning Associate Partner · Based in Greece

The content production

The content workstream is produced with our award-winning associate partner, based in Greece. Their ground presence means the estate, the landscape and the people are filmed by a team that knows them, with one senior crew and six shooting days in Crete producing the brand film, the digital clip library, a documentary reportage and the full product catalogue under a single art direction.

Almost nothing is good enough.
Associate partner · creative scenario

Evlogia is framed not as a producer but as the world's most demanding curator: a name that searches, selects and blesses only what is genuinely the finest of its kind. The catalogue is small because the standard is merciless. That scarcity is the brand.

The reference tone is Peck in Milan, the one Stavros gave us: old and established, presented in a modern way. No rustic clichés, no folklore. The visual language of a maison, applied to food.

01

Time as proof

Under two hours from tree to mill. Yogurt that lasts twenty-five days instead of the industry's chemically extended sixty. Quality measured in hours, because purity has a clock.

02

Place as origin, not decoration

Rethymno is where the standard was set, not a backdrop. Crete is the birthplace of the curation; each new country adds its own single champion.

03

Selection as the product

One butter from France, one honey and one vinegar. A collection of ten to fifteen SKUs is the entire point.

Deliverable What it is
The brand film
60″–90″
The hero piece, shot on the estate at harvest with a full cinema crew. 4K, 16:9 and 9:16 masters, graded, sound designed, English and Greek subtitles. The definitive statement for the website, launch events and trade presentations.
Shorts & clips
12–15 pieces
6″, 15″ and 30″ cuts in vertical and horizontal, product clips per category, plus a dedicated B2B edit for buyer meetings. Clean subtitle-free versions for paid media.
The Cretan reportage
6–8 minutes
Documentary chapter one: the estate at dawn, the mill, the producer's own words, the family table. Unscripted long-form proof behind the film's promise, and a serial format that can travel to France and Italy as the collection grows.
Product photography
10 SKUs, 80+ selects
Pack shots on seamless from every angle, one art-directed hero image per SKU, and styled scenes per category with a food stylist on set. E-commerce, press, retail and B2B ready.
Balos Beach, Crete

In this phase, we also recommend creating an Evlogia Brand Film to introduce the world of the brand across the website, social, launch, events, retail and future partnerships.

The film should go beyond the product itself, capturing the landscape, people, provenance and sense of discovery behind Evlogia. It becomes an important piece of brand storytelling as Evlogia enters new markets and builds a global audience.

We would develop the creative concept, treatment, storyboard and script before directing and producing the final film.

Alongside the film, we recommend capturing a considered library of still photography, creating a strong bank of visual content for the website, editorial, social, campaigns and ongoing brand communications.

One crew
Film director, DoP, art director, photographer, two camera operators, food stylist, runners and post team. Film and stills shot together on the same sets under one art direction.
12 weeks
Development and pre-production weeks 1–5, six shooting days in Crete weeks 6–7, post through week 12. Fits inside the launch window with room to feed the rollout.
€87,000
Full crew, equipment, styling, post and worldwide usage rights. 40% on signature, 30% after the shoot, 30% on delivery. Valid 60 days.
Evening in Chorio
Why it holds its value
Every asset is built to be reused at each new market entry rather than spent once, so the library compounds as the collection expands. This figure sits alongside the Studio Akarii fee for the content workstream, which covers creative direction and editorial rather than production.

How We Structure the Work

Scope

Two scopes, cleanly separated. Scope A delivers the platform with the content to fill it. Scope B is the branding, scoped once the launch catalogue is agreed.

Scope A · Quoted in this proposal

Platform & Content
See Investment

The complete digital home of Evlogia, delivered with original content. The platform is designed around the story, built to serve consumer and trade in every market, and filled with photography, film, and copy owned outright.

  • Platform concept, UX, and design
  • E-commerce build, CMS, and trade channel
  • International market configuration
  • Estate and product photography, brand film
  • Master copywriting in English

Scope B · Scoped separately

Branding
TBD on SKU count

The masterbrand identity and the product system: wordmark, typography, colour, tone of voice, guidelines, and label and packaging design per SKU. The fee follows directly from how many products launch, so it is scoped once the catalogue is agreed.

  • Masterbrand identity system
  • Verbal identity and tone of voice
  • Label and packaging design per SKU
  • Range architecture and guidelines
Olive grove
How they fit together
Scope A is determined upon branding, as the branding brings the story and look and feel to the platform, and the whole messaging and content system for the distribution and creation.

Scope B is priced honestly rather than guessed: the number of SKUs at launch is the single biggest driver of branding cost, so we scope it the moment that decision is made. The two scopes can run together,  informing each other back and forth, with branding taking the lead to guide the decisions to follow.
